The Suicide Squad has assembled. Director David Ayer set Twitter alight with the very first group cast picture from the production of the ensemble superhero flick 'Suicide Squad'.
Seen in the picture alongside 'End of Watch' and 'Fury' director Ayer are... Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Will Smith (Deadshot), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Jay Hernandez (unknown), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Karen Fukuhara (unknown) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller).
The picture comes as Ike Barinholtz and Adam Beach join the cast.
However, you may find yourself missing a few pre-confirmed names: Clint Eastwood's offspring hunk Scott Eastwood and, of course, Oscar winner Jared Leto who has his work cut out for him replacing Heath Ledger as the Joker. There's a chance that one of them actually took the picture or, more likely, that they had things to do elsewhere.
Tom Hardy was originally cast as Rick Flagg but was forced to exit and was replaced by his 'Child 44' co-star Joel Kinnaman.
'Suicide Squad' sees a group of rogues primarily from the Batman comic book world join forces for a mission. Little on the plot is known but the film is set for an August 2016 release.
