Here's the first glimpse of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', as first broken over at Entertainment Weekly.
Arriving a year before the March 2016 release date of the eagerly awaited 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', the first look at the iconic bad guy sent social media into overdrive.
'Watchman' director Zack Snyder, put concerns to rest stating that: “He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”
Eisenberg played a billionaire with (albeit less violent) plans for world domination before to Oscar nominated effect in David Fincher's Facebook story 'The Social Network'.
Of Eisenberg's incarnation of the classic villain once played by Gene Hackman in the Christopher Reeve 'Superman' films, the film's director said somewhat cryptically: “Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”
Got that? Neither did we. Anyway, here's the first image of Lex Luthor. No strings attached.
