Neil Patrick Harris stars as Douglas ‘Doogie' Howser, a whizz kid who breezed through high school, graduated from Princeton and passed his medical board, all before he turned 15! But as a 16 year-old doctor, Doogie must now balance the demands of professional medicine with the everyday pressures of being a teenager.

In the season premiere, Doogie experiences his first kiss, loses his first patient, fights the system at the Eastman Medical Centre and learns some unique lessons about life, death and growing up with the help of his best friend Vinnie, his parents, his girlfriend and his boss.
