A quick guide to the cast of 'Fast Girls'

Set to be the feel-good film of the summer, Fast Girls, out in cinemas Friday 15th of June, tracks the rollercoaster journey of a British female sprint relay team and stars a trio of Britain’s hottest young stars: Lenora Crichlow (Being Human), Lily James (Clash of the Titans 2) and Bradley James (Merlin).  Let’s take a look at the Best of British Fast Girls has to offer:

Noel Clarke

From the classic comedy series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet,to Doctor Who then from winning a Laurence Olivier Award for "Most Promising Newcomer"to writing and starring in the hit film Kidulthood, Noel Clark is not stopping anytime soon. He’s already won a BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award, and is now co-starring in Fast Girls which he wrote. Expect even more to come from Noel Clarke in the future including new films Storage 24 and The Knot!

Bradley James

You might recognise him as King Arthur from the BBC fantasy-drama Merlin, but make way for his new role in Fast Girls! Bradley James stars as Carl, Shania’s (Lenora Crichlow) potential love interest. Even if you don’t recognise him now, we’re sure you will after Fast Girls!

Damian Jones

Everything this BAFTA-winning producer touches turns to gold! From Adulthood (which also features Fast Girls star Noel Clarke who wrote and directed Adulthood) to Academy Award-winning The Iron Lady, Jones brings A-game to the film industry time and time again, which is exactly what we expect to see with his newest film, Fast Girls!

Lenora Crichlow

Starting off at the YoungBlood Theatre Company, this rising star is working her way to the top! Making her debut in the ITV television series The Bill along with the UK horror film Wilderness, Lenora has continued to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She then starred in the Emmy-winning drama-comedy Sugar Rush and from there went on to star as a ghost named Annie in Being Human. In the upcoming film Fast Girls she stars as Shania, a streetwise and talented athlete who develops a rivalry with the ambitious and wealthy Lisa (Lily James).

Lily James

Born in Surrey, she began her education at Arts Educational School, and progressed to study acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Up until now her acting credits are mostly in theatre productions, such as the role of Desdemona in a production of Othello at the Young Vic Theatre. However she appeared in the series Diary of a Call Girl as well as the successful blockbuster Wrath of the Titans. Lily now stars in Fast Girls as Lisa, a hard-working middle class athlete who is driven by pure ambition.

Phil Davis

BAFTA nominated actor, Phil Davis, is one of Britain’s best home-grown talents. His experience over the years is insurmountable and has starred in TV series such as Bleak House to films including Alien 3, Vera Drake and of course his latest project Fast Girls!

Fast Girls hits cinemas June 15th, 2012 from Studiocanal. You can check out the trailer, on-set diary and loads of stills HERE at Cinemas Online.
