At 15-years old Rachel discovers a forbidden tape, with an iconic rock song on it, that has a profound effect on her. To the horror of her parents - and to avoid a subsequent arranged marriage and search for the man on the tape (who she persuades herself will be her modern salvation) - she escapes to the bright lights of Las Vegas.
