A guide to film symbols and certifications

Listed below are some of the icons that could appear on national cinema websites and what they mean:

General symbols:
 

  Passes - This icon denotes that passes (such as Orange Wednesdays, loyalty card schemes etc) are accepted but you should check with the individual cinema for details of which redemptions are currently used before proceeding. FLS stands for Free List Suspended and means that customers who can usually acquire free tickets (such as film critics, competition winners, staff) can not do so for this particular screening.

 Wheelchair Access and/or Disabled Toilets are available at this site

  Audio Induction Loops for the hearing impaired are available at this site

 Subtitles are running for this film. This could be for the hearing impaired or simply because the film showing is in a foreign language.
