18th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards list
The winners have been announced for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild awards. The statues are handed out to performers in the fields of television and film, with 'The Help' triumphing in the film department this year.
Female Lead and Supporting were both picked up for the race relations drama 'The Help' for Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer respectively. (Both are nominated for Oscars and BAFTAs in the same category). 'The Help' also won an ensemble cast prize.
Meanwhile the men were honoured for 'The Artist' and 'Beginners', with Jean Dujardin scooping Best Actor for his work in the silent film and Christopher Plummer added another accolade to his crowded shelf in the Supporting category.
