Dennis Hopper's son accused of raping teenager

Screen legend Dennis Hopper's son, actor Henry Hopper, has been accused of raping a 15-year-old girl after 'plying her with drugs and alcohol'.

Hopper, who starred in the lead role of Gus Van Zant's 'Restless' last year (trailer, clips, stills HERE), is being sued by the mother of the (now) 16-year-old.

Legal papers obtained by celeb gossip site TMZ site that Hopper and the girl (known in the lawsuit as Jan Doe) started communicating on Facebook.

A few short months later, Hopper invited her over to his home in Venice, California with the promise of booze and narcotics should she attend. Then he "engaged in sexually offensive conduct with her".

In the suit, the lawyer claims the actor "preyed upon a young impressionable child, suggesting that he cared for her, luring her into his home with promises of alcohol and illegal drugs, and then repeatedly taking advantage of her youth and vulnerability."

The mother claims that because of the alleged abuse that her daughter has been injured and required multiple mental health care professionals to aid her recovery.

She is suing for unspecified damages. It is not clear if the police have become involved at any stage.
