Report: Harrison Ford will return in new 'Star Wars'
Harrison Ford is set to return to space as his iconic character Han Solo in the new installments of the 'Star Wars' franchise, it has been reported.
Fox News Latino columnist Umberto "El Mayimbe" Gonzalez broke the story and his gossip has a solid reputation for turning into fact.
Having "triple checked" his sources, Gonzalez exclaimed "So like a Corellian smuggler I went on the prowl and I came up with something BIG... So yeah. Harrison Ford is back as Han Solo. How awesome is that?!"
It is not yet clear if Ford will play a major role or just cameo, but it's understood that Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) will also appear in the forthcoming JJ Abrams films.
Previously, Ford had spoken out about his desire to kill off Solo stating "I thought he should have died in the last one to give it some bottom: George [Lucas] didn't think there was any future in dead Han toys."
