Get Funky With The Guru
The Guru, the latest hit comedy from the makers of Notting Hill and Bridget Jones, will have a special gala screening tomorrow (Saturday 17 Aug 2002) in Edinburgh at the international renown film festival.
The celebrity packed screening will at the UGC cinema in central Edinburgh. British star of the film Jimi Mistry (East Is East) will be attending together with his US co-star Heather Graham (Boogie Nights) and director Daisy von Scherler Mayer.
The formal International Premiere for The Guru will on Tuesday 20 Aug 2002 at Empire Leicester Square, London.
Jimi Mistry, Heather Graham and Daisy von Scherler Mayer will be joined in London by fellow co-stars Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny), Emil Marwa (East Is East), Sanjeev Bhaskar (Kumars at Number 42) and executive producer, Shekhar Kapur.
Celebrity guests rumoured to also attend are the girls from Sugababes, television presenter Dermott O’leary, Irish pop sensation, Samantha Mumba, and comedians Armstrong and Miller.
The star studded after show party will be at funky showbiz venue Elysium on Regent Street, London.
